Reflections from the Farm

It's human connection.  

It's an analog experience.  

It's a moment away from the noise.  

It's the anti-AI.

Simply put, I write you a letter every month.  

But, a snail mail club is more than that.  It's a personal experience, curated to spark joy, inform, and invite, from our little corner of the world to yours. 

Each month, on the 5th, we begin assembling and packing those letters, tying up with twine the treasures we found for you, adding a stamp here or a sticker there, and making sure there's a personal touch for each letter we send out.  

On the 12th, we take all of our letters to our local post office.  It's the same post office where we pick up baby chicks in the spring.  It's a block down from the one stoplight in town.  

And over the next several weeks, as each of you takes a moment to enjoy the little slice of rural Virginia we've sent your way, we're taking a moment to look around us.  We're pausing to appreciate the changing of the seasons, the next phase of the moon, the new flush of growth in the fields or the latest antics in the barn. We're journaling and sketching and thinking about which moments will brighten your day and bring you joy. 

And as the next month begins, we start again, writing, and drawing, collecting and assembling, observing our world and preparing to share it with you!
